Alongside premiering her first single ‘Loca’, Shakira has also released the cover to her next studio album, Sale El Sol, which will be ‘bilingual’, though predominantly recorded in Spanish.

Shakira indeed alludes to the title of the record in the beauty shot, and shows off a more loose vibe, as well as sporting the messy-carefree hairdo she rocked to promote her Oral Fixation Volumes 1 & 2 albums.

Ultimately, the cover looks childish solely by looking at the font, which seems to have been designed by preschoolers, as well as the silly bandz she is wearing. The picture would do just fine, it is just the font does not match and looks off place, if not cheaply fan-made.

Looks like there will be a lot of influence from Laundry Service in this LP. Shakira seems to be trying real hard to go back to where she started after her failed attempt at major success with She Wolf.

Judging by the sound of the first single, and the album cover, Shakira might be preparing a cross between Laundry Service and Oral Fixation or an extension to Fijacion Oral Vol. I. The official World Cup theme song, ‘Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)’, and its Spanish version are set to be included in the final tracklisting.

Sale El Sol is slated for an October 19th release.
