Aside from having an official countdown to her new record in the iTunes store with a new single released each week until Teenage Dream becomes available, Katy Perry has covered not one, but three magazines in a month period, being it Billboard, Q Magazine, and the iconic Rolling Stone.

All the goss on the new record is discussed, future plans, engagement and coming wedding to comedian Russell Brand; she also answers fan questions and addresses her Christian upbringing.

Billboard exclusively confers about Teenage Dream, praising particular songs and hinting at possible proceeding singles from the new album: ‘Peacock’, ‘Firework’ (her personal favorite) and ‘Circle the Drain’. It also recaps Perry’s struggling times when trying to make it in the music industry, after being dropped several times from different notorious record labels; their loss.

In Q, Perry talks about the scoop on new tracks, how her pastor parents view her music, and how her relationship to Brand is, at the same time widely displaying her frisk personality.

It is interesting to note Rolling Stone covers are no easy feat, and Perry with just an album under her belt and two #1 smash singles, has already achieved to grace the magazine’s upcoming new issue, which will focus on her relationship with God. It seems the new album is doing its main purpose, of turning Perry into a star.

On a lighter note, Katy Perry will be co-hosting the 2010 Teen Choice awards next to Glee cast members: Kevin McHale, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer and Mark Salling. The show airs August 9th; she has been confirmed to be performing at the ceremony.

As far as the Teen Choice Awards go, there will be a red-carpet special webcast airing August 8th, hosted by Michael Buckley (YouTube’s ‘What the Buck’). Performers also include Jason Derulo, Dirty Money, Justin Bieber and Travie McCoy.

The new video to her second single, which currently sits in the Billboard H0t 100 chart at #7, has been announced to premiere August 10th via Mtv.

She is also scheduled to perform at this year’s Mtv Video Music Awards in September. Promotion cannot get any better than this.

Teenage Dream due August, 24rth.
